Performance Drill Pipe
Inertia welded drill pipe from 2-3/8" OD through 6-5/8" OD, meeting the latest API Standards with tight dimensional tolerances and high-performance tool joints.
Manufactured from tubes that allow for tight dimensional tolerances, providing a 95% minimum wall in every tube — up to 100% more wall wear than API premium class.
Manufactured to offer unmatched reliability and efficiency, with traceability maintained through permanent identification numbers traceable to original mill testing.
Integral and welded HWDP with higher yield material strength, extending service life while providing higher torque and tensile loads throughout the drill string.
Precision-trepanned for true bores, made from 4145-modified alloy bars, quenched and tempered full length — drifted to API specification with quality-assured connections.
Manufactured from 4140/4145/4130 M7 drill collar bar material with atmospheric heat treatment to API Spec 7-1. Any type or thread combination available, 12"–48" OAL.
Integral pup joints manufactured from solid bars, heat treated to drill collar specifications. Available in 5', 10', 15', and 20' lengths to match standard drill pipe dimensions.

Material and process traceability are maintained for each Drill Collar. Every collar receives a permanent identification number through its manufacturing process, traceable to the original mill testing.
Material is heat treated full length to guarantee mechanical properties meet or exceed API Spec 7-1. Hardness is maintained within 285–341 BHN, with Charpy V-Notch testing minimum 40 ft-lbs at 70°F one inch below the surface.
All new threads are hot phosphate coated to aid in reducing galling and adhesion of the thread compound.
As needed on connections of NC-38 and up, stress relief features on both pin and box connections can be machined.

Coastal Pipe USA, LLC. provides integral and welded heavy weight drillpipe with typical or higher yield material strength that provides enhanced performance on the tool joints, extending the life of the pipe and maximizing performance throughout the string.
The higher yield material aids in providing higher torque and tensile loads, minimizing any added weight throughout the drill string.
Drill pipe undergoes cyclic tensile and compressive stresses during operations. Cold rolling the thread roots on every piece reduces this stress and prevents pipe failure.
All pipe body is manufactured to API standards. Full traceability is maintained with a permanent identification number traceable to original mill testing.
